This is a great, easy to read book for young girls going through the early stages of puberty. Jordan is funny and honest and talks about hard topics from a young girls’ point of view.

This is a truly extraordinary book! Authors Jordan Reed and Shermane Reed did an excellent job at uniquely illustrating a personal view of their experiences as well as extremely important information about a young girl’s physical, emotional and spiritual journey. “The Talk I Never Had for girls” is encouraging, informative, empowering and helpful in facilitating mother-daughter bonding. This book is definitely a must read for all pre-teen daughters and their mothers.

This is absolutely one of the best books I’ve read and in terms young girls can really understand and relate too! I was one of those girls who never had this talk so reading this book brought up several emotions, I cried and I laughed.
